Le module complémentaire Fonds et désignations vous permet de créer des fonds pour vos formulaires afin d’y verser des revenus. Cet article fournit une vue d’ensemble générale de la création et de la gestion des fonds, des rapports sur les fonds et de la configuration de vos paramètres de fonds par formulaire.

Premiers pas avec les fonds et les désignations

Funds and Designations est un add-on GiveWP qui doit être téléchargé, installé et activé. Lisez ici pour obtenir des instructions sur le téléchargement, l’installation et l’activation des add-ons GiveWP.

Un fonds est un groupe de revenus qui peut être alimenté par une ou plusieurs formes de dons.

Une désignation est un choix qui détermine quel fonds reçoit les revenus. Ce choix peut être prédéfini par un administrateur ou présenté à chaque donateur lors du processus de don.

L’add-on « Fonds et désignations » crée une distinction claire entre les revenus générés par un formulaire et les revenus générés par un fonds spécifique.

Avec cet add-on activé, tous les dons reçus sur le site doivent être versés à un fonds. Il existe deux options pour attribuer des dons à des fonds : l’option Choix de l’administrateur et l’option Choix du donateur. Cela est configuré sur chaque formulaire individuel. Par défaut, tous les nouveaux formulaires sont définis comme Choix de l’administrateur.

Contrairement à certains add-ons GiveWP, il n’y a pas d’options à l’échelle du site pour configurer les fonds et les désignations dans les paramètres de GiveWP.

Lorsque vous activez l’add-on Fonds et Désignations pour GiveWP, trois choses se produisent dans le back-end de votre site :

1. Un nouveau fonds est créé nommé « Général ».
2. Toutes les recettes existantes sont affectées au Fonds général.
3. Tous les formulaires existants sont configurés avec une désignation de choix de l’administrateur définie sur le Fonds général.

Creating and Managing Funds

To create new funds, navigate to and click “New Fund” at the top of the page.GiveWP > Settings > Funds

Keep in mind that the title and description are displayed both in the table at and on the Form edit screen on the back end, as well as on the form itself and the donation receipt for forms where the fund is set to Donor’s Choice. There’s a hard cut-off at 255 characters for the title, but it is a best practice to keep it short.GiveWP > Funds

Funds can be arranged in a list in the edit menu of your donation forms by using the drag-and-drop function.

Deleting Funds

The General (Default fund) that is created upon install, cannot be deleted. However, additional funds can be deleted, and the General fund can be renamed. To delete funds, navigate to GiveWP > Settings > Funds and click “delete” on the fund in question. A modal prompt will appear, and you can confirm the deletion.

Deleting a fund will permanently remove the fund name and description. Upon deleting a fund, the revenue from that fund is NOT deleted, Instead it is automatically added back to your General (Default fund). You will not have to worry about losing any revenue from deleted funds.

Funds Reporting

Baked into “Funds and Designations” is the ability to track at a glance how the fund is performing. On each fund’s row in the table at , click the “Overview” link to see a report of that fund’s performance.GiveWP > Funds

In addition to the reports, you can also export the Fund ID, Title, and Description for each donation at .GiveWP > Tools > Export

Per Form Fund Options

On individual forms, the default behavior is to make the form “Admin’s Choice” for the fund, and associate all donations with the default fund as set on the Funds page.

You can designate all donations to a fund on the Fund Options tab of each individual form.

If you select the “Donor’s Choice” option, you are required to select at minimum two funds for the donor to choose from. They are displayed in a dropdown on the front end of the form.

In addition to selecting the funds for donors to choose between, you can also customize the text used on the dropdown. By default it’s "Where can we designate your gift?"

Reassigning Donation Revenue to Different Funds

Revenue can be reassigned from one fund to another in a variety of ways. See the table below as a reference.
